you wouldn't know that first one was through a fence. I love the way the pitcher looks like he is about to pitch it straight at you.
Some nice action pics there. I also like the way you have kept the ball in shot - adds a lot to the image. Don't know if you have PP ed any of them but I think a bit more contrast and lifting the midtone levels a bit, would give them a little more punch. How did you find the 80-400 for focusing with the action? Cheers, Craig
Ok Jordan, yeh all i did was adjust exposure a bit as it was getting dark with some shot so curves and bit usm mainly although they seem to have lost a bit for some reason when i post to pixspot it seems to degrade the image to what i see. But all in all i think it does ok and its prolly more the user is a bit slow at times. And was like after 7pm and the lights at the place are not that good so yeh. was just a play around anyhow i get unhappy if i dont pic my camera up atleast every day or so and dont take some pics.

Yes jordan it helps but after awhile as it got darker i had to bump up the shutter to like 400 and all hand held. These are just a couple as the first felle had his eyes closed which is a bit hard to tell with these pics and the young fella has a real strange look on his face but yeh pics are not that good for some reason and have noticed this before, yet other i have seen seem to be ok, but yes i notice a big difference in these. mabe i should try one of my other sites see what they look like.
