Mrs Losfp pointed this little fellow out to me today (she is a great animal spotter!! Must remember to take her with me when I can afford to go to Africa...) sitting on a leaf on our rose bush. Anyone know what it is?

The second shot was her trying to be creative and holding the flash BEHIND the leaf for me. Didn't think it would work, but it's not terrible either..

3rd is great - definitely me favourite.. So clear and sharp.

2nd is pretty good as well.

What lens and settings was this taken with?

She is very pretty, and hungry, Losfp.
I don't think that you would want to get this close to most of the critters in Africa though.

I'll go with the mob... #3 is brilliant.

I also like the effect you have tried with #2... maybe it would be more effective without the spider? Perhaps trying that concept on a range of different plants? Nice shooting all the same. :D
