Band shots: PlayjerisePlayjerise are two young fellas from the blue mountains, playing guitars, and singing some great songs.
Thay came and played at the youth group that I run last night, and I had a crack at some low-light handheld shots. BIG learning curve for me - lots of blown highlights and stuff. These are the shots that survived. Kind of. Some were shot on the 50mm 1.8, others on the 18-55 that came with my canon. no pp. cc please! bigger versions available here oh, and if you want an audio-visual experience, open their myspace music page in another tab!
Great pics specially under such difficult circumstances with all those people to work around etc.. btw... just checked out their site.. great music too!!
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
i love playjerise! their music is so beautiful!
great shots, ones that include the crowd are always winners especially if the audience are likely to see the pics, they love to see themselves! Nathan
