Excellent shot although it looks as if it could do with a little more contrast (in the greens) :)

Steve,

Great shot with lots of detail. It looks like you white balance is out as you have lost a lot of colour from the dragon. It is good you have included his eggs, but would have been better if all the tail was included.

It also looks like you have pretty good viz, although with a 10.5mm lens, you would have been pretty close.

Amazing! Is it an aquarium or were you in the water also?

Wow that is clear for flinders! Nice shot. I hope you didnt stalk him too much, sea dragons tend to stress very easily!

Ant.

I was in the water! Swimming with the fishes.

Agreed

Visability was awesome, subject would have been about 5-10cm off the front of the dome. You have to get super close with this lens! Positioning of the strobe is a challenge

Ant - I saw three dragons on the dive (2 with eggs) and I photographed them all - but I never touched them and made sure not too many shots on any one fish.

:D

It was a good day (and not bad for my first time with this kit). More shots soon.

Awesome! I like the slightly muted background colours, helps the subject really pop off the screen
