Hi all,

Well just some drift pics (what a surprise) from last Saturday it was extremely over cast and did eventually end up raining but the show went on. Had to pump up the ISO a little so a little grainy but oh well.

While not a huge fan of drift, I do appreciate the skill in achieving a nice crisp subject while panning, especially at the shutter speeds you have used for these. 1/60" is quite a handful to get right. Were you using a monopod?

I love the close-up of the wheel in #3, its great, but my pick of all of them would be #4. Full opposite lock and a lot of action in that shot.

The only critique I can offer is that maybe the backgrounds of the shots are a little too distracting (I think the only way to get around that is to be closer to the subject... that tends to blur the background more). Aside from that, solid work! Well done. :D

ditto on that last shot being the best. Well done on capturing the driver's eyes too

I only ever used my monopod once and found it frustrating but have been thinking about giving it a go again.
