Time to get my first post here out of the way
My son had a swim meet last Saturday & I had a Sigma 70-200 loaned to me so I gave it a go. Now I want 1

They look nice and sharp. The second one is the best for me. It has a good view of his face without being obscured by the water.

#2 love the "frozen" water.
Always amazes me how moving water looks good at either extreme...fast shutter speed or slow.

These shots are indicative of the high quality of the Sigma 70-200 - guess who has one too

Very nice shots

Correct on the Sigma. I am very very fortunate to know a great bloke who is lending it to me for a few weeks, as he isn't using it.

But I'm saving my guts out so I can get one for myself.

I'm even hoping to sell a couple of lenses to get it i.e a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and my kit Tamron 70-300mm.
I have used the Tamron 70-300 pretty much exclusively on my kids playing sport & has done a good job of it, but the Sigma is on a completely different level. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I agree that number two seems to be the best, but they are all good sharp images and lovely colours.
