which one......would you choose?
dimitra (the model) ask me to choose which one would be better for her book. personally i prefer the #1, but i would like your opinion. thank you, theodoros
I suppose it depends on what you are wanting to convey in the book. For me no1 shows a bit of secrecy, not knowing who the person really is. No. 2 shows a person that is fun and beautiful.
Personally I like seeing the face so it is number two for me as well. Mal
I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
I don't mind the first shot but might be better with a tighter crop with less sky? I like the off centre composition though.

Come follow the rabbit hole...
For a model portfolio, I would probably go with #1 though the skin seems a bit excessively smoothed
I prefer #2 as a portrait though. I get a sense of the person with it. Greg

No. 2

thank you all!
more for #2, to be honest i would prefer more to be with #1 , so i have to think more... but... i don't know why.. i find #2 a little bit usual in a way. thanks again for your help! much much appreciated!
#2 is more of a snapshot
Now, #1 - excellent composition, ethereal in concept. Makes you look at it and imagine the thoughts going through the young ladies mind. #1 Chris

Both pictures are good, but I think number 1 is slightly better.
I know it is all the rage, but I believe the skin treatment in this type of images is becoming so excessive that the models end up looking artificial.
I would call #1.
I would like to see #1 but with maybe just the hint of a smile ideally? Also I will 2nd the calls on a bit too much PP on the skin.... could you post a less touched up version at all? Old D200+extras
thank you all for the comments and your help!
personally i prefer 100% less skin retouch, but if you want to make fashion work these days, it is the first thing that you have to do...
#1 for me.
