These aren't my shots, but my brother's - he recently visited Myanmar. I quite enjoyed them and was wondering what the forum members think and how he can improve. I have his permission to post them. They were taken with my D70 and either the 18-200VR or the 50mm 1.8. It was the first time he used the Nikon.

I love the third one, its gorgeous! Please pass on a thumbs up to your brother, he's captured some nice shots for his first time with the camera.

The small girls face in Image #1 would be a good crop. The second image is interesting too. Good effort.

really enjoyed these images! Couple of areas a little soft, and the pic of the little girl could only get stronger with a bit of a crop!

That's a decidedly good effort! The last two are excellent, I would be proud of them if I had taken them.

The first is nice but would benefit from a tad more DOF. The second is quite interesting, too. I guess a different vantage point might have improved it, to make those leading lines work better.

Cheers
Steffen.
