Exposure could be brought back 1/3 a stop as the highlights on her face are a bit bright. Also consider cropping out the top and the right as it doesn't do much for the image - this will result in a much more intimate crop as you have eye contact with her.

thanks for the comments. this is what I tried. Camera used is D50. D300 on the way.

I cropped just the top and right hand black sides of the photo, doing nothing to the left side with the lights. I think this looks the best. Having her a little off -center adds to the effect.
