Interesting composition. The eyes are very engaging and can't help but wonder what he was looking at.

For me, the right side is a little too bright as I would like to see both eyes clearly. I also find the subject (your cousin?) engaging.

I think this is an outstanding portrait. The eyes are nice and bright, there is enough fill light on the near side balancing nicely with the bright side.
