Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

nice oe with the gels its good your gettign shadows on the walls it adds that extra dimension to the image

as for pose there are so many subtle guidlines for any situation
but essentially to make it easy when you look through the viewfinder you need to get the girl to move in a way so you get conscise clear poses lots of your poses look like they are shot mid movement or you just missed the pose, usually this hapens technical issue or the model is new and her movements ain't poses more like unfinished movements, when models get better or you direct them to the nth degree you can get conside different poses a cue to take the shot, slouchy movements with no definition doesnt count as a pose

but iof course the other side of this ruel is if you want movement shots and capture something whilst in mid movement but even then its obvious what a good captured mid movement shot is, it needs intensity and flow

back to my make it easy thing, look through viewfinder if the girl looks hot take it if its unflatterign dont take it change pose, get girl to move continuously if yoru not gettign clear and concise poses, soem people work better in continous flowing movements, another trick is to rollplay, or just before a pose get the girl to start of at some pose then on the count of 3 execute desired pose strong at that time if you take the shot its strong and not whimpy

anyway theres pages and pages of this stuff so get out there and make those girls feel like a million dollars and they will shine for you
at the end of the day its about taking a hot flattering shot of a girl hey
