shot a designers range
lit it with 3 lights(sb800's) originally but because i was using the su8 commander unit results were all over the place 1 light fired and on occassion they all fired the way i intended

1 light looked good, its standard fashion editorial lighting high and slightly to the side defines clothes well

this is the way its meant to look with 3 lights 2 gelled and 1 white

Excellent work as usual, Wendell. Both set-ups are well mastered. Great tones and styling.

I really like the blue/grey tone you have achieved Wendell. I think it sets the mood really well.

Hey Wendell - I really like the effect with 1 light .... the last one, for me at least, does absolutely nothing :(

I think the last one is let down by the gigantic hot spot on the model's back.

The others are wonderful. :D

AMAZING as usual ......what body are you shooting with at the moment wendell? D2x or D200?

You have the most amazing sharp images.....i cannot replicate that to save my life....

im shooting with my d200

but i shot these images with my assistants d2xs 17-35mm lens

camera has nothign to do with sharpness

its all about light and focus
if your gettign blurrys theres not enough light exposure is off or the camera/lens has mis focussed

usually when theres flashes involved lots of light the youll get a pretty sharp images

hold camera still setup model in a static position relative to you aquire focus shoot 1/250 f4 minimum

I love the single flash shots Wendell. What are the shadows on the background coming from?

i photoshopped them in
its actually meant to be a template on the light but this time i used ps
just getting lazy i guess, i know how to get the shadows in real life using templated strobes but its more setup
