The last three work great in B&W. Have you tried add a bit of grain? These images really suit a 1950's feel and a bit more grain would put them in the "right" time frame.

love the mood in that first one. reminds me of the photos captured during world war II. the innocence in the eyes of the subject as well bring it to life.

mickeyjuice, i usually make the photo bw in ACR.
I lurve the 2nd one...so much texture/emotion and depth to this image...fantastic stuff!
