some from today for critique...

I've never been a fan of the 'sideways' shot. They rarely seem to look 'right.' They are also hard to keep all the body parts in the frame as shown in the second image where the young lass's foot is cropped.

Still, I like the post-processing on the images though. The de-saturated look works well here except in the first one where the young lad's legs seem to be much less colourful than the rest of him, no doubt due to the grey steps.

I much prefer this photo of yours.

Thanks for the comments. I never used to like the sideways shot, but to be honest it is growing on me... There were a lot from today that didn't work but this was because I intentionally shot this way to practice and see the results.

You are right about keeping everything in frame (ie: Sienna's leg in the second), I only had the 85mm as well which made it harder. I should have noticed this more though.

The post processing was something new as well... apparently it is the "New York" look :shock: I like it at the moment (on the right image).

Thanks for taking the tome to look through the gallery, I also like the ones you linked to.
