Big swell surf surfersThe swell just keeps on coming. I took these today down at the Coffs Harbour boat ramp, usually a serene piece of water. It was pumping. We were so close to the action that 200mm was too close!
Check out the blue and green water. President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

Nice clean surf. Number two is the pick of the bunch. The fantail left by the water looks cool. (Or is it Gnarly dude?)

Number two for me also. But I am intrigued as to the "flesh" coloured object in the water in picture number 1. I assume that it is the foot of another surfer (hopefully attached to his body!)

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
No, the foot was definitely attached to a surfer and yes, the spray was gnarly, even wicked, dude.
The shots themselves aren't remarkable except for the fact that surfing here is akin to surfing beside the opera house - it just doesn't happen that much! President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

I bet you were stoked! And if I had abs like the dude in #3, I wouldn't wear a tee or a wet suit either! But then, I have been known to sink surf skis. Something to do with a low centre of gravity. TFF (Trevor)

Yeah skin cancer is so becoming on a man.. *nods*... and na.. he is too thin.. Love that last shot you have just posted Ozimax... he really is getting the most out of that wave! The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
#3 is actually a self portrait, taken with a wireless remote controller etc etc (I wish)

It's certainly hard to paddle when the surf ski is below the water level! TFF (Trevor)
