Imagination come to lifethese 2 flowers, (well one's dead lol), were all alone and sticking out so far from the rest of the foliage i thought i'd have a really good chance to get this effect without alot of PP and cloning...and it worked. this image turned out exactly how i imagined it in my head so am very pleased.
right sbr mounted with diffuser aimed directly at subject left sbr handheld high to left and this was the other one that i really liked. i love how the wind played havoc with the bokeh in the petals to the right. this one didn't need any PP at all. no flash either. just spot meter on the petals with the nifty fifty at i think f2..not sure.
