Surprising how when you don't use your camera for a few months , you forget how to use it.....Not that I was particularly good then either

Anyway, went for a drive today and took the opportunity to get some practise.

Warning - no swimming....


This isn't as sharp as I had hoped but I was standing on this little bridge and the water kept washing over it in waves and I'd already almost lost my thongs several times. I was worried I was going to be one of those 'idiots' you see on the news that was washed away in flood water while doing something stupid.


I really didn't see the merit in taking this shot but the other half wanted me to. Probably explains why I think it's the least sharpest ("I'll do if to make you happy but don't expect a real attempt") :

Pretty good series there LB. Can't offer too much criticism except maybe to have tried a few from different perspectives, ie very low down, at close to water level?

Would have liked to have gotten lower, but throwing the camera into the car was a last minute decision and I wasn't wearing field clothes

I thought it was in that area but I was thinking up in the Currumbin Valley.
