We scooted off down the coast and spent most our time photographing pelicans

Of course on the way home she used her wiley charms on an innocent guy at the petrol station. (I'll leave it to your imagination what happened).

Wonderful captures.

The first is delightful, but a tad oversharpened.

The second is great too, capturing the size of the bird, and the inelegance of this landing. Beautiful.

He's no longer innocent. Didja watch? Did she at least have the courtesy to ask you to join in a threesome? :)

Thank you for that!

She did ask if I wanted to join in, but I'm shy and very innocent, I did however offer to photograph the event 8)

The second shot is wonderful and has a lot of commercial value. It would be very easy to sell. Great work!

All very nice images but I like the first one best as a kind of interesting contrast.

I like them all, but number two has me giggling like the guy at the petrol station...

The landing is just comical, and the girls reaction to it is priceless.

It was dark, so the overexposure was underexposed. :)

What is, I think, very interesting about these, and the related images of Bindii, is that their PoV is so different from the norm: normally, for these sorts of images, you would be land-side taking images with a water or horizon backdrop.

These seem to have been taken from either the water, a boat, or a jetty or breakwater of some sort, and looking back towards the shore, hence the very different backgrounds and points of view. That helps these images quite a bit.

Teela, these are fantastic shots (as are Sue's). IMHO, they don't need the coloured border and sig though. They are very strong images by themselves.

Cheers
John
