we took lots of pics of Abby (now 3 months old) over Christmas & New Years. She's such an awesome little girl, sleeping about 7 hours a night, and a little bit during the day. The life of the party at Christmas!

All tuckered out on boxing day: 50mm - f/4.5 - 1/100 - ISO 200 - natural light, taken by my wife.

Drying off after a bath: 50mm - f/4.5 - 1/160 - ISO 200 - natural light from the window above her head.

Great stuff Matty, I really enjoy your photos of Abby.

Alicia is retraining Alex to sleep for longer during the nigh, but it is amazing how fast they grow. We saw his cousins in Brisbane over the Christmas period, including a 3 week old cousin who was absolutely tiny, yet about the same dimensions as Alex when he was the same age.

Very nice photos.

cheers everyone!

they have both been printed small, but #1 is my desktop picture on my laptop and #2 is the wallpaper on my phone!

Pat, it is very amazing how fast they grow - my sister had a baby boy just after Christmas, and he was heavier than Abby when he was born - yet he seems so tiny next to her, and he feels pretty light compared to her. Putting Abby beside him, he looks like a baby and she looks like a little girl. It's only been 13 weeks, but there's so much change!

I think I may have been standing on tippytoes a chair, leaning over her to get the reflection in her eye ... the things we do for our hobby!
