I tried shooting the evening session on Day 1 at the Moorilla International Tournament in Hobart. This was the first time I have tried shooting tennis in the evening.
The light was really difficult. But I'm learning more about the D3 and the 80-400 every day so it's been fun.

Thanks Sue. Yes the light at that time of day was a challenge. Also at midday with the huge contrast in the light was a challenge as well. There wasn't one day that had nice even light. What I'm saying is there were no overcast days. But you don't get to choose the light in this type of photography. You either get the shot or you don't. Anyway, it was a great learning experience with my new camera. Learning how to use the lens and the light and the camera was a lot of fun.

Cheers
