It's been raining on and off here, and I am on 'holidays' (of sorts), so I took the umbrella with me, kept me and the gear dry, and went for a bit of a walk round.

The second and third image are from a few days earlier. Just a small froggie - trying to hide!

I would highly recommend sneaking out more often - these are fine images

Underload - I agree - take some more frog shots - it starts to get addictive

The frog is the eastern sedgefrog, or Litoria fallax

and I love the treatment on the first - takes the shot to another level

I really like #3. Even though the subject tof the photo is mostly concealed, the eye contact is so strong that you are instantly drawn to it, and my eye doesn't wander off out of the frame as I keep getting drawn back. Lovely background and perfect DOF really make this one work well!
