The girl is, spectacular... I'm jealous

By the way, great shots! I like the concept in #2 and #3, very nice :D

The lighting and DOF in the last is spot on - there is great separation between the girl and the background.

The other three don't tickle my fancy as such:

1. Her pose seems to make her breasts almost point directly up and look really unnatural to me.
2. Great lighting and concept, except her posture makes her look like she is really off balance or something.
3. The model, to me, is too small in the frame and seems to get a bit lost.

These are just my opinions and I like the way you have progressed and pushed yourself!

i dont know if its a good "model shot" but #2 and #3 are just beautiful photographs. i would say that they are the 2 of the best "chick photos" i have seen on this site. reminds me of Nnsic photo's in his kitchen, (i think its his avatar ?), in that its a different take on the subject. we've seen shitloads of gorgeous women but the uniqueness is what is appealing to me personally.

so if you were trying to take a great model photo, there are others that can give better feedback. if you were just trying to take a beautiful image that stands alone then they are nothing short of superb.

:agree: With Patrick and Rooz.
The lighting is not quite there in #2.
#4 is really very well done but is a fairly typical beach shot.
Just my thoughts, keep up the work we are enjoying it.

Matty,
My take on these four images...

Photo 1
Very nicely lit and composed however it looks like her breasts have been filled with helium and (IMO) doesn't look natural.
I also agree with comments made in some of your previous threads that it may look better with the background more OOF and further away from the model.

Photo 2:
Great concept however my eye is drawn away from Ash and towards the end of the dress and the highlighted rock (when we should be focussing on the model herself). I do like the separation made by the darker background and the nicely exposed model in this one.

Photo 3:
This one doesn't do a great deal for me and, for my liking, the model should take up more of the photo....though again the lighting and seperation from the background in well done.

Photo 4:
Definitely my favourite. The OOF background really compliments this shot and the scene looks quite natural.
I could easily picture this shot in a mens magazine :)

Keep up the great work !

Supurb! Your processing skills are well developed and your use of light and colour is spot on. Go to http://www.freeware-guide.com/rareware/ ... endar.html and download this brilliant little program and make a high quality A3 calander of your best work. It will be a work of art.

#3 and #4 for me.

I really like the way in #3 that despite taking up a smaller % of the frame, the colour and light make you look there anyway.

And #4? As everyone else has said, it's just spot-on - lighting, DOF, etc.

The last is spectacular in all ways. Lighting is superb.
Now that someone else has mentioned it I think the first which clearly will end up having the viewer focus on her breasts, at least for a short hile :) , creates a small problem in that you does look like they are filled with 'newspaper'. I think she has a gorgeous figure and i would have lost the bra so that the outline of breasts would have been more in keeping with the other lovely rounded forms. Just muy humble 2 cents worth :) But terrific set of images Matty.
cheers

Yes, as others have said, beautiful images.

If I was to change anything, it would be the model's feet in #2 & #3. To me, they look dirty (sandy?) and I find them distracting.

I believe they are too good to be critical. Lovely model, simpressive scenery, creative compositions and very professional.
