This image was taken on Christmas Day 2007 for family members that were moving away from the area, they thought it would be nice for me to record the view so they had a reminder of their own home. This has been processed via photomatix (HDR), they requested the processing for a more painted look.

Great shot Craig...does it differ much from straight out of the camera? To my eyes it doesn't look like a lot of PP (HDR) has been done. Would be interested to see the original shot.

Geoff, just for you here is the unprocessed and unstraightened original.
Not that different, but overall a slightly different feel.

Well done with that HDR Craig. I've found the secret to using Photomatix is not too go to far overboard. Enhance the image but keep it believable. You have done that well.

Cheers

Great shot Craig... and a beautiful location. It would be tough to have to leave there.

I can't believe that they are leaving that view! And cracking edit there also... you really made it pop! :)
