Well I was above this butter fly for the capture, but was watching a bird in the garden that caught my eye when this chap came passed and settled on the flower. He moved off when I opened the window to poke the Sigma 120-300 2.8 at him but came backed while I was removing the 2X TC, as I was too close, about 4 feet away, but managed to get a few frames without the TC....... he has been about for a few days now and maybe a better shot tomorrow...... the birds are there almost every day

Nice captures considering you were handholding a mother of a lens. The slightly burnt flower takes away from the butterfly though...

gosh those flowers (read: evil weeds) are crazy..
mowing thru a yard full of them is like cutting thru a forest using handsaws.
