Look into my eyes...This was taken on Australia Day of a friend's little girl..I thought the B&W conversion worked reasonably well, it's a pensive look that I quite liked. Critique/comments welcomed:

Re: Look into my eyes...Perfect dof.. and the expression on her face captures her innocence beautifully..
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Look into my eyes...Great work, Geoff. You have nailed the expression and composition. The B&W conversion works really well.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: Look into my eyes...Great shot, for sure. Comp, DOF and expression, all make it good.

Re: Look into my eyes...I'm not sure innocence is the overriding thought for me. She looks a little cheeky even, like she's thinking 'As soon as this guy with the camera is gone I'm outta here'.
Great shot though, the B&W really shows the softness in the sking and the whispy hair makes it all work. Great focus on the eyes as well. D300 - MB-D10 - Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 - Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 - Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 - SB600
