So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Native beesHey
I know the images are crap and not very clear, but I an wrapped to just get some of these little suckers in flight. These little native bees are fast as well as small. And sunset may give the flowers nice colour,but..... Size comparision between the this native bee and the "honey" bee Does anyone know the name of the native bee? The flowering gum is Corymbia 'Summer Beauty'. They are hybrids between the West Australian red-flowering gum Corymbia ficifolia and the swamp bloodwood Corymbia. ptychocarpa. (note that they will sometimes be labelled as Eucalyptus rather than Corymbia) whizzzz, there goes life again.....
But now captured on a Canon 40D with bits http://www.flickr.com/photos/wazonthehill/
Re: Native beesI don't think that you have too bad of a job capturing these though.. these little guys are fast as.. and not to mention that they are tiny.. the are certainly better than any of the images that i have managed to capture of them.. give yourself a pat on the back!
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
