And sunset may give the flowers nice colour,but.....

Does anyone know the name of the native bee?

The flowering gum is Corymbia 'Summer Beauty'.
They are hybrids between the West Australian red-flowering gum Corymbia ficifolia and the swamp bloodwood Corymbia. ptychocarpa.
(note that they will sometimes be labelled as Eucalyptus rather than Corymbia)

I don't think that you have too bad of a job capturing these though.. these little guys are fast as.. and not to mention that they are tiny.. the are certainly better than any of the images that i have managed to capture of them.. give yourself a pat on the back! :)
