G'day y'all, been a while. Site looks tops.

Keen to know what you think of my kitty shots. Took her home for 1 night to see how my 2 dogs/cats would react. Not very well it turns out. Had to return poor kitty back to my sister :( I had a great bond with Pockets, and am sad that someone else will get her...

All D70, 18-70 kit, Aperture Priority, handheld, ISO 400, Natural light.

Thanks. Look forward to getting back into DSLR!

I love these shots of Pockets, numbers 2 and 3 in particular. Well done.

Number two for me. Great depth of field, beautiful eyes.

#2 for me as well. I also like #4 but think it would be better if the left eye was more visible.

Cheers,

All great shots but I really like the shadow across her face in the last. #2 is good too but a tad too soft for me.

As for keeping Pockets, it can take a week or two for the other household pets to accept her, or longer. Depending on how much time you have at home to give to introducing her slowly, there is a good chance she will be 'adopted' by the rest of the clan. But it also depends on the other pets personalities as well.

Love #2. Maybe a touch of sharpening for a bit more "pop"? Great wallpaper either way, or a nice print for your sister.

That's either a very cooperative kitty or these are a few of many pics... :)

Cheers :)

Yeah 2 is a little soft. I should have bumped up the ISO/Aperture combo..

She's a very good little kitty. Shot for no more than 10 mins, took about 20 shots all up. Also used a toy to help out.

THE THIRD ONE!

Make a print out of it, definitely.
