Nice capture, though would prefer a simple frame. If the young bloke really wanted to look like Warnie he would be sms some young girl on his mobile

Yes, nice image and would have made a great series if you had caught the follow through with continuous drive

I guess I have to comment on this one, given the subject of the pic!
I love shots of kids playing cricket, and this one is no exception. The expression and body language on the bowler is fantastic.
Small criticism - I can't be absolutely sure at this resolution, but I don't think the shot is focused correctly.
But I think it's great.
(I am ignoring the frame.)

Yes Cricket Fan, the boy with his back to the camera is right in focus, the bowler is just out.
In the heat of the moment, I didn't look to see what the camera was focusing on.

What frame?
Good shot - very serious that bowler. Teach 'em young to keep a steady stream of pom beaters coming through the ranks!

excellent timing! personally, i would have framed it a lot wider. to me, the whole direction of the shot is from left to right, so i suggest at least half as much again on the right, even if it's empty space. a good companion shot would be of the batsman getting ready to hit. they could be mounted a distance apart, letting the viewer fill in the space between them. good stuff
