Nice shot, good comp, colours etc. To me though the focus point seems to be a little behind his eyes which makes it look a bit odd, just like me. But it could also be my crap eyesight.

Nice shot. The lighting is great, nice and balanced. The background is good, too. I agree a bit with Craig on the eyes, but it may just be the reflection that makes them look slightly out of focus. I know I often have that problem with large insect eyes.

Hey cobby - good shot I know that I would slightly dodge the eyes just to bring them out a little, but that is just me
If you were wondering, it is Orthetrum caledonicum, or the blue skimmer
