Playing around, with my 50mm, macro rings and sb-800.

Apart from the fact that my eye could be sharper, and my forehead is a bit hot, what do people think?

From one Russell to another - in focus would make it a lot better

Thanks sirhc55.
I will try again. Camera was on tripod, and focus on manual. I got the wife to focus and press the button ... and those sb800s are very bright at close procimity to the eyes ... :?

I like the first one better, but I find it a bit out of focus. I have troubles with the second colour one; perhaps is a good illustration for an eye specialist? :)

I think the last one is the best. Somehow it works better than the others. However a further improvement for the third one could be aligning with the shape of the canvas or with the imaginary diagonal line.
