Yes... It was pouring.... The cars were under yellow for the whole "race":

Yellow means they were driving under safety conditions (marshalls waving yellow flags) - it also means they were driving at about 1/4 pace and were not allowed to overtake

Qualifying was the day before and the person who got the fastest lap (when noone else was on the track) got to start first. They then drove around until that same guy won the race - Hey - I never said it had to make sense
