That's a quality image. The colours just glow. I'm wondering if a closer crop might not give the image more impact?

Great image Nigell, was it staged or is the guy really eating in the dark?

No I really like the way the light vignettes/falls off. You're portraying anonymity, and i guess you are getting at the lonliness or isolation too. The fall off helps this.

Wasn't staged. I was setting up to shoot some birds than had flown in. I "Chimped" saw the silhouette and thought "Hmmmm." I then deliberately took another shot exposing a little darker to accentuated the effect, and ended up with that shot.

looks like he was waiting for something. Nevertheless, it's a great shot - excellent mood achieved. It's not always about taking a shot with balanced lighting

This really appeals to me - it is a very intriguing image. I do however agree that a clser crop might improve it further.

Great shot & mood. I agree about trying a tighter crop.

Great concept and colours. I like the vignetting allowed by the looser crop.

Cool lighting but Im struggling to associate the image with fast food? There is nothing standing out at me - he could be anywhere?

Title comes purely because I was in Hungry Jacks at the time.

Great shot and use of negative space...
