Well several of them really.
Was wife's birthday so went for a drive with her and the in-laws to Montville, Maleny and home through Kenilworth.
Grass was nice and lush everywhere after all the rain. Dairy cows and a multitude of cattle egrets everywhere.

These guys were having a bit of a swim which caught my attention.

C&C welcome

Nice shot. This was via the D3, yeah? If so, how much PP was involved? I ask because the DR looks superb.

Patrick BTW this is where I get the milk for my coffee. Local dairies = minimal processing on the milk and high protein content.

Minimal PP on this. It was a raw file. Exposure was spot on. Some small adjustment to the recovery, fill light, contrast and clarity sliders plus a tad of saturation added.

There's one 'evil cow' in the water, which is staring you down big time! The tag in the ear adds a heap of attitude, too!

Yup, that cow got my attention too.

Whilst looking at this shot, I realised I would never take a shot like it. If I was stood next to you at the time, I still wouldn't take such a shot.

I really am the sort of person where my eye automatically seeks detail in small parts of a scene. I would have just zoomed right on the cow in the pond and snapped away at small things, never noticing there was a beauty or balance on a larger scale.

For me, buying a wide angle lens would be an absurd waste of money.
