Crypt (borrowed idea)So stole this idea from devilla101 viewtopic.php?f=18&t=30403 and walked up to the crypt today. Took a lot of shots that reinforced
a) I have so much to learn b) Need to think more about settings before starting to shoot c) This is fun anyhow these were the nicest. Focus is poor etc but they are a start. This is just down the road for me so before long I will hopefully be back with much better examples. D80, 50mm F/1.8, 18-70mm DX, Sigma 10-20mm
Re: Crypt (borrowed idea)I like the 2nd the best. The arch frames the view better IMO, and the carpet draws you into the photo. I am not sure about the hot circle in the middle of that pic though.
The WB might be a bit warm though. Was this taken with Auto WB? You are right that the focus could be sharpened a bit. Are you able to use a tripod? Russell
Nikon D700 // 50 1.4 // 70-200 2.8 VRII // 24-120 f4// Tamron 90 // SB-800 // 70-300G I'm on Redbubble too ... http://www.redbubble.com/people/rflower If you can make one of my photos look better and you have the inclination ... please do so.
Re: Crypt (borrowed idea)WB was auto. I am not sure if tripods were allowed. In any case I dont own one - next on the list to buy. I am pretty shakey so need one badly.
