We took this new friend to see the sea to Bribie Island (north of Brisbane). He had never seen the sea
and he came out with an old Lao proverb, which he wrote on the sand. I am not sure what it was, but
it should have been something like "Friendship should not be like the writing on a sandy beach".

A bit of pp will perk this shot up no end Zafra.. crop the top to the sand and darken the writing... well thats what I would do anyways... its still a good image though that I am sure all of you will treasure always...

and it seems odd to me that he has never seen the ocean... I guess that we take stuff for granted here and we tend to forget that we really are the lucky country...

Oh.. and I really did like your proverb...
