A few from the Sydney Strobist shoot SundayIt looks like I wasn't the only Member from here that went to the Strobist lighting shoot yesterday
here are few of my shots from the day... I'm fairly happy with these, as this is the first time I have tried this style of shooting C&C is most welcome Bernie Thea Thea sorry this is a little wide but its not very tall and the impact would be lost at a smaller size Jessica
Re: A few from the Sydney Strobist shoot SundayKeith! It takes years to 'develop' as a great photographer, you have mastered landscapes then you do a few portraits and the results are damn good!! I think you have a fair bit of 'natural ability'!
My fave by a long shot here is the 2nd image and the lighting in it - fantastic! Care to share the setup? Geoff

I love number 3, that bar was very cool (love the window in the background), looks like the hairlight worked ok to I have not even looked at mine yet I'll try and get some up tonight or tomorrow. Andrew

thanks Geoff I have seen some of the shots from others there and they leave my photos for dead which is why I"m looking for C&C the settings #1 D200 Tamron 28-75 @ 65mm f4 1/200 ISO100....... 2 shoot through umbrellas, one left and one right #2 D200 Tamron 28-75 @ 75mm f4.5 1/25 ISO100...... flash bounced in silver umbrella camera right, background ambient only #3 D200 Tamron 28-75 @ 40mm f5.6 1/160 ISO100..... snooted hair light from left and main light from flash into umbrella right, window light ambient #4 D200 Tamron 28-75 @ 28mm f4.5 1/100 ISO100..... main flash bounced in silver umbrella camera right fill light silver reflector camera left 2 flashes on back ground
