Rally Tasmania

Well, a first for me shooting motorsport.

A street stage was run for the first time in Burnie and was spectacular and good quick fun (all up it ran for just over an hour, with a car every 50-60 secs).

I was challenged by being in the pack, having a TV crew in fluro orange wandering around in my view and using the 18-200VR which isn't quite suited to this fast action.

The last shot is vey good. I love the fact that's a bit quirky. I presume the rear lid is up to "air cool" the rear mounted engine.

#2 and #3 are diminished by the obstacles in the foreground IMO

That's how fast I'd drive through Burnie too.

I do like that last one. Quirky, yes. Air cool, yes. Aerodynamic wing, no. :)
