Transient beauty

Just I as I was going to work I suddently realised that this flower (I don't know its name) practically flowered overnight so I took the picture. When I returned from work a few hours later it was gone, as if it never had existed. The cactus had been there for years and never flowrished till then. The new neighbours removed the cactus because it was such an ugly plant...
