I love number 3, a corker. As for #4, I think the idea is good, just not sure if the slight sepia tone is best on the happy couple. I would try greyscale, and also a bluish tint. But great stuff. (The other two are good too!) Greg - - - - D200 etc

I really like #3 and think it is an excellent capture. However after I looked at it for a while, I noticed the B&W bordering that has been applied and once I did I found it distracting. YMMV but I think it would look better without it.
#4 doesn't really work for me, though I've never been a fan of selective colour so I would tend to say that. I think there is some merit in the idea, just the couple seem to look very stark and out of place in this image. #2 I wouldn't change a thing! Great shot of an inquisitive youngster. Cheers.

I must put my two cents in. I find that in image 4 the background seems to be more important that the subject; while I am not sure how to take #1. However, I like 3# and #2 for different reasons. #3 I believe it is attractive because of the composition, shapness, vivid colours and your choice of putting the subject on one site so your eyes move back and forth on the image from the subject to the background and viceversa. #2 is the eyes of your subject that are so beautiful with its reflections and full of wonder and inocense, the shallow depth of field and the softness of the face conveys tenderness ; while that almost monocromatic choice of colour does justice to the image. Well done!
