3 Mintues of Light

Pinhole 3 Minute 15 second exposure of fireworks. I am thinking you need daylight to get a little more detail (well enough so that its softness isn't so dominant in the image) either that or 0.65 is too big for a pinhole. C&C welcomed on this one. Its been years since I last used a pinhole, and that was a shoe box.

Yeah. Drilled a hole in the body cap and put a bit of tin foil-y stuff on the back. I didn't know about the fireworks till someone told me, so rushed in and grabbed the pinhole lense to see what would happen.

Very nice Nigell, I did the same a few years back and posted the pics on the forum. I quite like your image as the colours carry it. I think you have nailed the hole size, a daylight image should look as detailed as you would expect. Pinhole images can look good printed on canvas or textured paper, adds to the dreamy effect.
