Hi

After a long long time, here are some images I'd like c&c for please.

Let me know what you think of the treatment. Alex was in a baby carrier in a walk around North Harbour Reserve last weekend - I knew as soon as I took it what I'd do with it!

That's a pretty amazing treatment very well executed. He does look a little devilish tho as matt implies :D

First impressions count for a lot. I went "WOW!"

Big blue eyes, desat(?) and the blue surroundings make these images stand out.

I do not see anything devilish.

Cheers

I think both images are great images let down by the PP. I think your concept is fine, but you've pushed it too far - a bit more warmth would still leave the blue eyes concept without the "village of the damned" look.

Thanks everyone. I'll give it another shot in the next few days... perhaps a little more subtle.

Very interesting shots.

#1 - A crop on the right hand side would ”decentralise” the eyes and IMO have far more impact. Love the pensive look but would prefer that the under lip not be sucked in, to give a more natural look

#2 - IMO the better of the two but gain I would crop the right hand side a tad and crop down from the top to remove the ”bump” of the forehead. Also I feel that the white framing does not work at all

Blue Eyes - take 2

Ok. Thanks for the advice from you all...here are some edited images. I do look at the originals and think they were a bit scary now!
See what you think of these. Credit must go to Pat who accidentally showed me the black frame.

Chris - -I did tell Alex to stop sucking his lip in but do you think they ever listen to their mum!

much better....

I really like the second version, the black frame, the warmer touch, the crops... all work much better.

Well done for going back to them and improving them.

:D

You've nailed it with the rework. Print these and frame them and give them to the grandparents.
