Me in Black & WhitePlaying around, with my 50mm, macro rings and sb-800.
Apart from the fact that my eye could be sharper, and my forehead is a bit hot, what do people think? Russell

Thanks Ozi. Appreciate the comment.
Thanks sirhc55. I will try again. Camera was on tripod, and focus on manual. I got the wife to focus and press the button ... and those sb800s are very bright at close procimity to the eyes ... Russell

Re: Me in Black & White
Your scaring me... Mind you.. it would make an excellent book cover for a thriller... The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Me in Black & WhiteI like the first one better, but I find it a bit out of focus. I have troubles with the second colour one; perhaps is a good illustration for an eye specialist?
Re: Me in Black & White
I have had another go ... This time using my new tamron 90mm. Hand held, self taken on autofocus, with popup flash. or Russell

Re: Me in Black & WhiteI think the last one is the best. Somehow it works better than the others. However a further improvement for the third one could be aligning with the shape of the canvas or with the imaginary diagonal line.
