First up is this Aboriginal gentleman taking breather in Brisbanes Queen street mall...
Next is my niece Em with her first pet, Molly.
would have prefered a less busy background, but you got to take what you can get where kids and animals are concerned....

Love the first one - great colours and background. The second is nice too, with eye contact from both the puppy and Em.

I prefer it your new crop. IMHO the yellow was a little distracting from the main point which is his face.

I also prefer the second crop... both are lovely portarits though.. I suspect that the shot of your neice and Molly will be treasured forever...

I agree, the second crop is better (Bindii I seem to be following your posts today and agreeing with them. Perhaps we are in synch!!)

I prefer the second crop, and really like the second image of Em and Molly, perhaps a very mild (lens or guassian blur) on the background to help reduce the distractions in the background might help ?
