I'm keen to hear how other's might see these cropped. I decided to leave them as shot. I was very pleased with the pelican, but I'm undecided on the Black Cocky as to whether to leave the black area balancing the image or to crop it out.

Hi Tdm-Td5,

I like the image of the black fella.
How did you get that photo ? What were the circumstances ?

Cheers,

Both images were from a day at Healsville Sanctuary in Victoria last week.

The Yellow-tail black cocky was part of the free flight demonstration. The keepers run one for birds of prey and one for parrots.

I would crop it slightly - not all the way but in a bit more.
