Frankie lives down our way...and in between acting on TV he still does a bit of singing (for those of us old enough to remember Ol' 55). Anyway he did a set at the Cobargo folk festival this weekend. Among other numbers he did "Don't think twice it's alright" (Johnny Cash style) and "Brown Eyed Girl"

NIce photos Shakey, especially the last one with BW treatment.

Great lighting and tones in the 2nd one but try burning in the photo left of his face a bit to make it less over-exposed. Just really like the light rays in the bkg.

B&W is fantastic - sharp, great angle and well executed.

Thanks for the comments and advice. I've had a go at Pirostich's advice in burning in FJ's face. Any better?

It's hard to tell for me until they are posted up together.

Yikes...after looking at it, I need to do the patch on his nose as well...maybe another time...
