A couple of birdsOut and about today - here's a sample of some of the lorikeets out in the garden. Only the first has had a little PP done in the way of cropping and cloning out of a branch
Linda
Re: A couple of birdsI think both photos are out of focus. Maybe your exposure time was too long or your hands were shaking.
Cheers, LT
Re: A couple of birds
I need glasses then
Re: A couple of birdsLinda,
They look soft to me, too. I'm not sure if it is the lens or the 1/100s and 1/160s with a 300mm lens.
Re: A couple of birds...... nice pixs...... but both look to lacking depth of field, which gives the appearance of being soft....... if you look the feathers are sharp but the head lacks DOF....... if your focus point was the head your shots would have a different look or appearance........ back to the garden for the reshoot......
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Re: A couple of birds
Thanks for the clarification - I really did think I was needing glasses - being soft I can see All I can say is thank goodness for digital - allows for copious quantities of that thing called practice and a revisit to the garden these were shot in Linda
