Howdy,
Just thought I would share 4 different images from the Clipsal weekend:
Ferrari from the stand
HRT (Can't work out which one!!) during qualifying (this was through the fence. Can just see the wires)
Pan @ 1/40th
Tight crop (sorry about the CA....gotta love using old Minolta glass)
All shot with a Sony A100 & either Minolta 75-300 F4.5-5.6 Or Minolta 70-210 F4 (beercan)

All really good considering your positions mate. I particularly like the angle of number 1

Nice mate. I think they could benefit with a bit more saturation and contrast. Really like the 1/40 pan, well done. How many keepers you get at that speed?? I like the idea of the last shot, but the shutter speed is to fast and the CA (as you pointed out) distracts from it.
The catch fence isn't slowing you down though!

Nice shots. I particularly like the last one. Nice outline of the tyre, showing the "air".

wow, the panning shot is really impressive. <3 it. The second shot, IMHO, will look much better if you tilt the camera to create some motion "imaginary" line.

Thanks Raskill,
I thought that too, but in the past I have overdone it!!! Looks like I need to find a common ground
Thanks for the comments everyone else!
