Hi,
Just thought I would post a copule of recent shots of my sons. I'm interested in peoples thoughts. C&C greatly appreciated.

#1 - I like this shot for the look on your sons face. It’s not often that you can get a pensive shot from a kid. The only thing I would do is crop down from the top to remove some dead space.
#2 - The DOF is too shallow and focus should be on the eyes. But, another lovely pose.

Andrew, I love 1 and agree with Chris (but wouldn't have noticed if Chris keen eye hadn't pointed it out). 2 is also appealling

Andrew - I too agree with Chris, the first image with a crop will be fantastic.
I like #2 as well, and again Chris is spot on! Out of curiosity what aperture was this shot at?

Thanks everyone for the feedback.. It is greatly appreciated.
I took the original RAW shot, desaturated the image then played around with the levels.
The aperture for the shot was f2.8

1st shot is really impressive, if you crop off the space on top of his head.
2nd shot captures the moment really well. A bit too shallow DOF. Am I repeating whatever sirhc55 said?
Really nice B/W process though!
