Gove Harbour on a dull dayWent out with the 14-24 this morning. Not much to shoot as the monsoon trough is over us at present so its fairly dull & wet. This is not a good lens for keeping water droplets off the front element - especially at 14mm!
Anyway here are a few that I kept. General Cargo Wharf & Tank Farm Biquel Bay unloading Out in the harbour D.M. - D200

Re: Gove Harbour on a dull dayHi DM,
I like the last photo best, but I think it could be improved with a little different composition. I've never been really keen of horizons splitting the image in half. I realize that there is probably too much cropping involved in this one that I've played with but it gives you the idea of what I'm trying to say. __________

Re: Gove Harbour on a dull dayI see what you mean, that does improve the shot. This on too portrait to remove part of the rock wall I was standing on, Think it would look better with more ocen to the right. D.M. - D200
